         COBOL是Common Business Oriented Language的縮寫，是一種結構化語言，
         適用於商業數據處理應用的高階程式設計語言，主要使用在商業處理方面，
         強調檔案管理與字串操作。相對於一般的程式語言 (Program Language) ，
         由於COBOL的語法相當接近自然英語，所以程式本身的可讀性很高。目前，
         大部份的大型電腦都支援COBOL程式語言，因為它提供商業事務處理中常用
         的統計、分數、檢索等功能，所以到現在它仍是商業上最廣泛使用的程式語
         言。
