       Coming  from  traditional  high  end  imaging  (SGI Irix), they newly
       ported  Eclipse  to  Windows  NT / 98 and took the first step towards
       open  platform  systems.  The  goal: optimized workflow with a higher
       level of control in real time.

       Eclipse - the high end manipulation tool for retouching and composing
       running on Windows NT / 98.

       Its  object oriented approach allows you to handle images larger than
       300  MB  in  real  time  and gives a higher level of control over the
       process  of  digital image manipulation. All effects and features can be
       controlled directly via the brush.

       Eclipse  is  used  by famous photographers like Thomas Herbrich, Iver
       Hansen,  Hubertus Hamm, Julien Vonier, as well as pre-press companies
       around the world.

       Smart  Canvas  -  the  tile-based caching system is perfect to handle
       large  file sizes. Work on 'billboard size' images at a resolution of
       300 dpi and higher in real time
       Multi  processor  - this capability shows further acceleration of the
       image manipulation process
       Automasking  -  (HSL,  RGB  or  CMYK based) applied directly with the
       brush, making masking incredibly easy
       Brushes  -  apply all effects and corrections directly with the brush
       or via a graphic tablet, without prior masking

       to modify image objects in real time
